Since February...
Miss Shay had a dance competition in Waverly.
Her dance team did well. (She's the second one in from the right side)
But...her team didn't place...and the disappointment was written all over her face. :(
Daddy put a smile back on her face. :)
We took a road trip to Florida for Spring Break with some good friends of ours. We drove straight through, both ways - which was overly ambitious and slightly crazy, but we had a great time! We saw so many things, which was very exciting for us all! This was MY (and the kiddos) first trip to Florida - and I was pumped up! ;)
Nothing says "parenthood" like four kiddos in one van for 3000+ miles (round trip).
St. Augustine, Florida
The Hubby was the only one who went to the top. (Yikes!)
If we ever make it back to Florida, we will be spending more time St. Augustine for sure!
What a dream come true! I've always wanted to go to Disney World...I even shed some tears when we left. I'm so glad we had a chance to get away for awhile, becuase then it was back home and back to reality - our busy, busy, blessed life...
Shay jumping on the sofa...tisk...tisk ;)
Spring vocal concert!
Bear's spring concert!
Mr. B's spring vocal concert.
Bear had his "famous person fair" at school. He was Walt Disney. :)
The fam participated on our church's Palm Sunday Cantata - it was so cool!
Miss Shay submitted a drawing of Jesus on the cross for the art show with the cantata.
(Her hair's all messed up from her costume.) :)
Our Easter Kiddos
Snuggles
Soccer began for Shay...
...she's #16.
And baseball began for the boys!
Take me out to the ballgame!
Cavy getting ready to Babe Ruth the ball!
He's so excited to FINALLY be able to play "big boy" baseball! :)
Bear headed to the infield.
Mr. B playing 3rd base.
Cavy lost his very first tooth!!! He was so happy!!
And...believe it or not...I graduated with my Liberal Arts degree...with honors. :)
I'm so glad the kiddos could be there to celebrate this achievment with me!
Well, I could keep on writing and posting pictures, but this acutally brings me pretty close to being "current." Tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I've got to be up nice and early to teach Sunday school. :) Thanks for checking in on us (and being patient with me.)
Blessings~
